Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Mise ("we," "our," or "us") provides an automated meal planning and grocery service that integrates with Kroger's grocery platform. Mise helps you build a recipe library, generate weekly meal plans tailored to your household, and automatically populate your grocery cart based on your preferences and live pricing.

By creating an account and using Mise, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• Promptly update your account information if it changes.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at hello@misemade.com.
• Not share your account with others or use Mise for any unlawful purpose.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mise. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscription and Billing

Mise is a subscription-based service. Access to the full feature set requires an active paid subscription.

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 60-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using Mise.

Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the then-current subscription rate.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access to Mise until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Billing is handled by Stripe. Your payment details are stored securely by Stripe and are never stored on Mise's servers.

4. Data and Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

By using Mise, you grant us the right to process your data (including your recipe library, household information, and Kroger connection) for the purpose of providing the service. You retain ownership of your data and may export or delete it at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mise and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service.
• Any errors or inaccuracies in meal plan suggestions, grocery recommendations, or pricing information.
• Unauthorized access to or use of your account or data.
• Any third-party conduct or content, including Kroger's platform.
• Any allergic reactions, dietary issues, or adverse health outcomes.

Mise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Mise service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by applicable law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Mise after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
